Our psychology team attend training programs, seminars and conferences to ensure they have cutting edge knowledge, skills and therapeutic style.

 

To this end, we often rely on each other to provide additional support and guidance in working with clients.

 

We provide backup if a Psychologist is on leave, sick or attending training, to ensure your care is not interrupted or delayed.

Dr Vanessa Winchester

Clinical Psychologist

Vanessa is a Clinical Psychologist and works with adolescents, adults, older adults, couples and families. She has a particular interest in adolescent issues, including school to work/university transition, peer group conflict, parental conflict and self-esteem. In addition, she has worked extensively with Queensland Health, providing clinical counselling with young people and their families effected by alcohol and drug abuse.

Emma-Kate Muir

Registered Psychologist

Emma-Kate is a Registered Psychologist working with a variety of clients, including people with disabilities, injuries, illnesses, unemployed persons and athletes. Her areas of experience incorporate management of depression, anxiety, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, self-esteem, relationship and conflict issues, anger management, vocational guidance, men’s health, illness management, alcohol and drug use, weight management and performance coaching.

Dr Deanne Armstrong

Clinical Psychologist

Dr Deanne Armstrong is a Clinical Psychologist with a strong interest in working with survivors of trauma, and people struggling with long term difficulties (chronic depression or anxiety, difficulty establishing relationships, longstanding unhappiness). She works with adolescents and adults using a person-centred approach to help clients achieve their goals. Deanne also works with couples who are experiencing relationship distress, communication difficulties, the aftermath of infidelity, or seeking to a safe space to discuss difficult topics and reconnect.

Jordan Huselton

Clinical Psychologist

Jordan is a Clinical Psychologist with empathy and compassion, Jordan works collaboratively with clients to achieve their therapeutic goals. Jordan believes that lasting change is fostered by providing a warm and supportive space. Her approach is client-centred and holistic, drawing from evidence-based practices to explore each clients’ story non-judgmentally. Jordan works with individuals experiencing personality difficulties and disorders and with gender issues across the lifespan.

Registered Psychologist

Priyanka is a Registered Psychologist with over 7 years’ experience working with a diverse client population, spanning across lifespan. When you meet Priyanka, you will immediately recognise her gentle and kind nature. Priyanka’s experience is broad and includes working with children and adults with trauma related disorders, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, relationship, conflict issues, transitional and developmental phases.

Justin is an empathic, warm and person-centred clinician who is passionate about supporting clients in working through and overcoming their challenges, identifying their strengths and empowering them to build meaningful lives. Justin strives to deliver a personalized, individually tailored therapies which focus on building the capacity of his clients to achieve their overarching goals.

Jamilla Johnson

Clinical Psychologist

Jamilla is a passionate and dedicated psychologist who looks forward to working with you on your therapeutic journey. Jamilla can support you to address concerns or challenges related to depression, anxiety, trauma, OCD, self-esteem, grief and loss, and other mental health concerns. She is a Clinical Psychologist and enjoys working with both young people and adults

Huan Ruan

Mental Health Accredited Social Worker

Huan has a Degree in Social Work (Master’s Qualifying ) and has additionally attained the qualification of Accredited Mental Health Social Worker. Huan is experienced in treating depression, anxiety, as well as alcohol and other substance use disorders. She has special interests in trauma, social anxiety, and multicultural mental health.

Hannah Humphris

Provisional Psychologist

Hannah is passionate about her psychology practice. She is a provisionally registered psychologist, dedicated to providing client-centred and trauma-informed therapeutic support. Hannah is able to support people with a range of presentations across the lifespan,  including those with culturally diverse backgrounds. Hannah draws from an array of approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Sarah Richter

Provisional Psychologist

Sarah is a compassionate and empathetic provisional psychologist dedicated to providing trauma-informed, collaborative, and client-centered care. Sarah employs a variety of evidence-based approaches to support client needs. With a focus on building strong therapeutic relationships, Sarah aims to create a safe environment where clients of all ages and cultures feel empowered to achieve their goals.

Our Reception team

Our Reception team, provides much valued reception support and direction for both administration and accounts payable departments.

 

Kim, Melissa, Ellen, Ally and Caitlin are our receptionists at our Strathlink consult rooms. Peter manages our accounts department.

 

Kim, Melissa, Ellen, Ally and Caitlin are always approachable and willing to discuss any client feedback, suggestions or concerns.
